Sympathy Poem for a Friend

Sympathy is man’s soulful self-expansion.

Sympathy is God’s perfect satisfaction in man.

Sympathy does not walk along the narrow road of the human mind. Sympathy walks only along the broad road of the divine heart.

Sympathy is a love-flower and a oneness-fruit.

Sympathy is at once man’s lighthouse and man’s treasure-island.

Sympathy is the revelation of God-Heart in man.
