We’re going mainstream all the way. Please be patient as we go through the process of transferring all of our great blogs on greener living, spirituality and life’s observations as we transfer and upgrade to an even better way of getting more readership and visibility among the search engines.

Thank you to all the loyal subscribers and readers…it is because of you all that we’re able to up our ante and become a fully functionable and hosted blog site.

I’m separating out the Greener/Green Living blogs to a new domain…one rich and plentiful of tips and experiences and news about living a green life, while everything else will remain on this domain. Greener living blogs will now have a link to their new home until they are indexed by the search engines.

I look forward to seeing your comments on all our blogs!

Thank you from the writers at FreespiritWriter.com

**NOTE: This blog will no longer be updated, please visit the links above to read all blogs about greener living and my rants, raves, reviews, thoughts & observations on life. ~ Thank you for visiting.**

Sympathy Poem for a Friend

Sympathy is man’s soulful self-expansion.

Sympathy is God’s perfect satisfaction in man.

Sympathy does not walk along the narrow road of the human mind. Sympathy walks only along the broad road of the divine heart.

Sympathy is a love-flower and a oneness-fruit.

Sympathy is at once man’s lighthouse and man’s treasure-island.

Sympathy is the revelation of God-Heart in man.

– Excerpt from Silver Thought-Waves, Part 2 by Sri Chinmoy

Housekeeping Chores Can Be Inspirational – If You Choose

tytania faery

Let woman's work be your muse.

As I was walking nonchalantly between my apartment’s kitchen and my bedroom gathering the sheets to wash, I thought how ordinary and mundane this can be.  Indeed doing these everyday tasks like laundry, washing dirty dishes, unloading the dishwasher, re-loading the dishwasher, putting away clothes, sweeping the floor, mopping the floor, vacuuming up the dog hair and dirt – I find these loathsome tasks amusing and comforting.

Why do I say the mundane can be your muse? Because each bend of your arm or knee is a movement of grace and gratitude. I think of my almost 90 year old grandfather who walks with a purposeful step and not as though he has arthirits’ aches and pains, and so as I move gracefully from one room to the next and back again to the washer or the dryer or the sink, it is my muse to move so freely and with purpose to serve my household.

Do not view housekeeping or yardwork or washing the car or picking up the toys off the floor laborious; let it be your muse, let your mind wander and dream and be inspired. You may think of a better way of doing your mundane housework or find someone else to do it for you or at least with you.

The laundry was muse enough for me to write this blog to inspire you, how can you be a muse to others?
